POWER SPLITTER INCLUDING T COUPLER IN E PLANE, RADIATION ARRAY, AND ANTENNA EQUIPPED WITH THE RADIATION ARRAY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a power splitter including a T coupler in an E plane; a radiation array; and an antenna equipped with the radiation array.;SOLUTION: A power splitter comprises: at least two side waveguides (61, 62) whose cross sections are rectangular and which are parallel to each other; and a horizontal waveguide (63) which has two facing end parts (63a, 63b) respectively connected to the two side waveguides, and whose cross section is rectangular. The two side waveguides (61, 62) are oriented along a direction Y, flatly attached on their large side surfaces which are parallel to a plane XY, the horizontal waveguide (63) is oriented along a direction X perpendicular to the direction Y, and attached along an edge on its small side surface which is parallel to the plane XY. Each side waveguide is joined to the horizontal waveguide by a T coupler in an E plane which is equipped with buried junction, and the two end parts (63a, 63b) of the horizontal waveguide (63) are buried in the side waveguides (61, 62) at the centers of the side waveguides, respectively.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
