ARTIFICIAL SPAWNING BED DEVICE FOR JAPANESE RICE FISH

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spawning bed for Japanese rice fish addressing the necessity of multiple eggs and a spawning bed for observation and study of the rice fish performed in elementary schools, being easily procured, and allowing a person to efficiently collect eggs, thereby performing the observation and study thereof.SOLUTION: Conditions of the spawning bed on which the rice fish preferably lays eggs are found using the habit of the rice fish and an artificial spawning bed is created. The artificial spawning bed is connected to a support frame with a float member for holding the bed at a normal position under favorable conditions, the support frame being easily attached/detached and easily observed. The artificial spawning bed device for the rice fish that is useful for the observation and study and from which eggs are easily collected is thus provided.
