PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel input device that can reduce an invalid operation against the intention of a user.SOLUTION: In the case where contact start coordinates P1 are included in the range of an operator although contact end coordinates P2 are not included in the range of the operator and the distance between the contact start coordinates P1 and the contact end coordinates P2 is within a predetermined threshold r1, as well as the case where both the contact start coordinates P1 and contact end coordinates P2 are included in the range of the operator, a touch panel operation determination device determines that an operator "1" has been operated. Thus, even when the contact end coordinates P2 have been unintentionally out of the range of the operator "1" due to the strength of the pressing force of a user's finger, the operation is permitted and made valid.
