PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous inkjet receptive solution satisfying characteristics demands for aqueous inkjet recording schemes, above all the prevention of nozzle congestion and the enhancement of storage stability, and an ink set including the receptive solution.;SOLUTION: The receptive solution of the present invention includes: (A) an organic acid salt having at least 3 carbon atoms; (B) an inorganic salt and/or an organic acid salt having 2 or fewer carbon atoms; (C) a high-boiling-point water-soluble organic solvent having a boiling point of 180°C or above; and (D) water, whereas at least either of the component (A) and component (B) is a polyvalent metal salt. Carboxylates are desirable as the component (A), though not particularly limited, and are instantiated by calcium salts, magnesium salts, nickel salts, aluminum salts, boron salts, and zinc salts of pantothenic acid, propionic acid, and lactic acid, etc. Chlorides, sulfates, nitrates, formates, acetates, or mixtures of these salts are desirable as the component (B), though not particularly limited.
