PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat treatment method for a turbine rotor, capable of suppressing a size-increase of a facility, a production cost and manufacturing time, and capable of producing a turbine rotor having excellent SCC resistance, without deteriorating the strength.;SOLUTION: A heat treatment method is for a turbine rotor being a component member of a low pressure turbine used in a thermal power plant or a nuclear power plant. The heat treatment method includes a hardening treatment process.
