PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon fiber sizing agent excellent in process passability, a carbon fiber strand in which said carbon fiber sizing agent is used, and a carbon fiber composite material in which said carbon fiber strand is used.;SOLUTION: Used is a carbon fiber sizing agent that is formed by containing the following polymer component and the following aromatic nonionic surfactant. Polymer component: polymer comprising hydrophilic group such as carbonyl group, hydroxyl group, glycidyl group, amino group, sulfo group and polyoxyethylene group in the molecule. Aromatic nonionic surfactant: monocyclic polyhydric phenol alkylene oxide adduct and/or polycyclic polyhydric phenol alkylene oxide adduct that has a HLB of 9 to 17, a molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn) of 1.05 to 1.15 and number average molecular weight of 600 to 2300.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
