WATER LEVEL PREDICTION DEVICE, WATER LEVEL PREDICTION METHOD AND WATER LEVEL PREDICTION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel and improved water level prediction device, water level prediction method and water level prediction system capable of accurately predicting a water level in a river in consideration of opening and closing of a water gate.;SOLUTION: A water level prediction device predicts a water level in a river, which includes a trunk stream and a tributary flowing into each other, with a water gate constructed at a confluence of the trunk stream and the tributary. The water level prediction device has a water level prediction section which predicts beforehand the water levels in the trunk stream and the tributary by computation. The water level prediction section predicts the water level on the basis that the water gate is closed when a water surface elevation of the trunk stream obtained from the predicted water level thereof is higher than the water surface elevation of the tributary obtained from the predicted water level thereof, whereas the water gate is opened when the water surface elevation of the trunk stream is lower than the same of the tributary.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
