PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid writing article that can form clear thermochromic calligraphy without discomfort, the calligraphy having slight difference between the color of the solid writing article itself and the color of the calligraphy and having almost the same color of the calligraphy a user forms after seeing the color of the solid writing article as the color of the solid writing article, and to provide a solid writing article set containing the same.;SOLUTION: A solid writing article 1 includes: a reversible thermochromic microcapsule pigment including a reversible thermochromic composition composed of (a) an electron-donating colorable organic compound, (b) an electron-accepting compound, and a reaction medium (c) that develops reversibly an electron donating/accepting reaction of the components (a), (b) in a specific temperature range; a diluting agent; and titanium oxide.
