PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oral ointment base which has good spreading, retention and permeation properties to an affected part and provide excellent impression from use thereof.;SOLUTION: An oral ointment base comprises a polydimethylsiloxane (A), an alkylene oxide adduct (B) of an aliphatic alcohol, and water.
