PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acrylic adhesive composition and the acrylic adhesive layer, a polarizing film with the adhesive layer, a laminate, and an image display device which contain an acrylic polymer, one type or more of a crosslinking agent selected from an organic peroxide-based crosslinking agent and an isocyanate-based crosslinking agent, and are capable of efficiently crosslinking the composition.SOLUTION: A acrylic adhesive composition contains a (meth)acrylic-based polymer, one type or more of crosslinking agents selected from an organic peroxide-based crosslinking agent and an isocyanate-based crosslinking agent, and a compound expressed by the general formula (1) at 0.005 to 5 pts.wt. with respect to 100 pts.wt. of the (meth)acrylic-based polymer. (Rand Rare hydrocarbon residues with C1 to 18 which may independently contain H or O.)
