PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sintered NdFeB magnet that has a slim shape and is high in magnetic characteristics, such as a degree of orientation.;SOLUTION: A sintered NdFeB magnet according to the present invention contains 1 wt.% or more and less than 6 wt.% of Dy and has a degree of orientation of 95% or more. The sintered NdFeB magnet is produced by a method including: a filling step of filling NdFeB alloy powder into a mold at a density of 3.0-4.2 g/cm3; an orienting step of orienting the alloy powder filled in the mold by a magnetic field; a heating step of heating the entire alloy powder filled in the mold at a temperature of 50-300°C before an application of a DC magnetic field in the orienting step; and a sintering step of sintering the oriented alloy powder together with the mold.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
