PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic sound velocity measurement apparatus and an ultrasonic sound velocity measurement method which can easily discriminate a transmitted wave by improving an S/N ratio of the transmitted wave in an ultrasonic reception signal and accurately calculate the propagation time of the transmitted wave and the sound velocity of fluid.;SOLUTION: A transmission transducer makes a specific ultrasonic wave with a specific transmission frequency deviated by a prescribed frequency with respect to a resonance frequency of a pipe wall of a pipe calculated from the thickness of the pipe incident at an oblique angle from the surface of the pipe in each of first and second measurement modes, a reception transducer receives an ultrasonic wave reaching the reception transducer in each of the first and second measurement modes, and a sound velocity calculation part extracts a reception signal corresponding to the resonance frequency from the ultrasonic reception signals of the ultrasonic waves received by the reception transducer in each of the first and second measurement modes to calculate the sound velocity of fluid in the pipe from the propagation time of both reception signals.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
