PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smart meter capable of displaying a test result of a measurement unit and reporting the test result to an electric power company.SOLUTION: There are provided a power measurement unit 24 that measures a voltage value and a current value supplied from a commercial power supply side to a consumer side, a power calculation unit 25 that calculates a power value by multiplying the voltage value and the current value together, a measurement unit 42 that measures a power amount by integrating the power value supplied from the power calculation unit 25 and displays the measured value, and a test control unit 33 that tests the measurement unit 42 in responce to a test request signal from a server 10 of the electric power company, in which the test control unit 33 controls the measurement unit 42 to display the test result on the measurement unit 42 and to transmit the test result to the server 10 of the electric power company.
