PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for stable installation of a long object using a short pile part, along with an installation method for realizing the stable installation, without assuming the pile length to be infinite.;SOLUTION: The ground on which a long object is to be installed is surveyed for deriving the N value of the ground, at the same time calculating the reactive force exerted on a pile part buried underground as a function of the displacement of the pile part while converting the N value to a constant. The horizontal displacement and deflection angle at the boundary between a support part and the pile part (the pile top) is derived based on the shear force and bending moment at the pile top calculated based on the maximum horizontal load exerted on the support part and the horizontal displacement of the pile part caused by wave motions when the pile length is assumed to be finite, and the displacement at the top of support part is derived based on the reactive force calculated based on the displacement of the pile part, as well as the horizontal displacement and the deflection angle at the pile top.
