CURRENT POSITION COMPLEMENTATION DEVICE AND CURRENT POSITION COMPLEMENTATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow for autonomous navigation on pedestrian navigation devices and creation of so-called probe information on pedestrians including accurate current position information.;SOLUTION: A current position complementation device consists of a shoe sensor 1 and a mobile terminal 2. The shoe sensor 1 sequentially detects pressure on the soles of a user from the surface in contact with the soles via pressure detection means, and sequentially sends the detection outputs via transmission means using short-range wireless communication. The mobile terminal 2 implements a complementation process according to results obtained by current position acquisition means that obtains current position data and travel data obtained through analyzing the detection outputs sent from the shoe sensor 1 that are sequentially received by complementation means via reception means, and identifies the latest current position on a map.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
