PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intention estimation device capable of easily and highly accurately estimating a selection intention from spontaneous brain waves of few sites.;SOLUTION: An intention estimation device 1 sets, by a preliminary measurement, two situations (a base situation and an optimal intention) that can be created by an object person and brain waves to be measured in such situation, and defines one of them as a situation representing "Yes" and the other as a situation representing "No" (steps I and II). In the Yes/No determination, the intention estimation device makes the object person create a situation representing "Yes" or "No", compares brain waves measured at that time with the brain waves of the set two situations, and estimates the selection intension of "Yes" or "No" of the object person.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
