PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a software development assist device etc., capable of appropriately displaying the relationship on a time base between functions.SOLUTION: A screen processing unit 141 displays, on a display unit 12, a specification data input screen for allowing a user to input specification data about each function constituting software. An input processing unit 142 inputs, along the specification data input screen, specification data including a temporal element and inputted from an input unit 11. The screen processing unit 141 generates, on the basis of the specification data inputted by the user, a function flow diagram indicating the relationship on a time base between functions, and displays the generated diagram on the display unit 12. A format conversion unit 144 converts the specification data inputted by the input processing unit 142 into a predetermined format and causes a specification storage unit 13 to store the converted data as a specification.
