PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection system for efficient inspecting a containment vessel.SOLUTION: A guide sleeve 30 having a lower end communicating with a vacuum break line 6 and an open upper end, the upper end being located above a water level in a reactor containment vessel; and a remote inspection device 50 loaded from the guide sleeve 30 and movable in the water via the guide sleeve 30 are provided in the vacuum break line 6 communicating with the containment vessel and filled with the water by flow of the water in the reactor containment vessel into the vacuum break line 6. Furthermore, the guide sleeve 30 is installed in the vacuum break line 6 through a hole 21 formed in a floor located above the water level in the containment vessel.
