PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent some obstacles such as birds, pebbles, ice pieces and the like from being sucked into a jet engine during flight or ground sliding, fans or engines from being damaged and much amount of money from being paid for maintenance or replacement of devices and the like.;SOLUTION: A protection screen 6 is fitted to the front surface of a fan 2, the outer circumference of the protection screen 6 is closely contacted with the fan 2, a circular hole portion of a central part is spaced apart a little from the root part of the fan 2 to have a resiliency, the protection screen 6 is fitted to a spinner 3 and set with screws. In addition, as the second problem solving means, a fan case 9 at the outer peripheral part of the fan 2 is formed with a concave groove 10. Even if the protection screen 6 receives a high impact pressure, the impact pressure is instantly dispersed in a radial direction by the screen and the fan 2 merely receives a fine impact pressure, so that no damage occurs at these components. Since the dispersed obstacles are easily discharged out of the concave groove 10 into a fan exhaust hole, a core engine 1 and the fan 2 are not damaged.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
