PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-canine N-terminal pro-atrial natriuretic peptide antibody (Anti-canine NT-proANP antibody), an immunological measurement method for measuring canine N-terminal pro-atrial natriuretic peptide using this antibody (canine NT-proANP), and a method for detecting heart disease or a parasitic infection of the heart in a companion animal.;SOLUTION: An anti-canine N-terminal pro-atrial natriuretic peptide antibody of this invention consists of a different amino acid sequence portion from an amino acid sequence of human NT-proANP, for example, anti-canine NT-proANP (31-67) antibody recognizing a partial portion or a whole portion of the amino acid sequence 31 to 67 of canine NT-proANP, or anti-canine NT-proANP (68-98) antibody recognizing a partial portion or a whole portion of the amino acid sequence 68 to 98 of the canine NT-proANP. The immunological measurement method of canine NT-proANP of this invention is based on a sandwich measurement method using one or two kinds of this antibody.
