PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical film excellent in durability against heat and humidity, including a supporting body with a good surface state, and provide, to provide a composition suitable for use in the production of the optical film, to provide a method for producing the optical film, and to provide a planar image display device, a three dimensional image display device, a liquid crystal display device and an organic EL display device, each of which uses the optical film.SOLUTION: An optical film comprises a supporting body, an oriented film, and an optically anisotropic layer containing a liquid crystal compound, in this order. The oriented film contains: a polyvinyl alcohol having a polymerizable group; and a polyfunctional acrylamide-based compound that is selected from among polyfunctional acrylamide compounds and polyfunctional methacrylamide compounds.
