DECOUPLING PARALLEL MESHING IN COMPUTER AIDED DESIGN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of meshing a CAD domain including a CAD solid, a CAD part in an assembly type CAD model or a section of a CAD part in the assembly type CAD model for use in a CAD/CAE process.SOLUTION: A process of generating meshes of a CAD domain by performing a plurality of CAD meshing processes in parallel, and each CAD meshing process among the plurality of CAD meshing processes includes: a step different from the other meshing processes in the CAD meshing processes; a step of determining which of the generated meshes satisfies a preset meshing criterion indicating a mesh quality; and a step of selecting one of the generated meshes satisfying the preset meshing criterion for use in a subsequent CAD/CAE process.
