DETECTION LIGHT ENHANCING METHOD USING LIGHT REFLECTIVE MATERIAL IN IMMUNO-CHROMATOGRAPHY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an immuno-chromatographic specimen which achieves both high sensitivity detection of a substance to be detected and a simple specimen structure, although these items are not compatible normally.SOLUTION: Provided is an immuno-chromatographic specimen which: contains a membrane on which capture substances, being ligands bonding with a substance to be detected, are immobilized; uses insoluble carrier particles which couple the ligands bonding with the substance to be detected; accumulates the insoluble carrier particles by making the capture substances immobilized on the membrane capture the insoluble carrier particles; radiates light on the membrane; and detects light emitted from a site where the insoluble carrier particles are accumulated or from a surrounding area excluding the site where the insoluble carrier particles are accumulated, in order to measure the substance to be detected. The immuno-chromatographic specimen is provided with a light reflective material on the opposite side of a membrane side irradiated with light.
