PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To abate the material cost of a superconductive cable and the work cost at the time of the connection thereof.SOLUTION: In a connection structure of a pair of superconductive cables 10A and 10B each possessing a cable core furnished with a superconductor layer comprising a superconductor layer 130 formed by a former 140 and a plurality of superconductive wires 100 arrayed side-by-side along the outer circumference of the former, the superconductive wires embody a laminar structure possessing a substrate 1 and a superconductive layer 3 formed on the side of one principal surface of the substrate, and one superconductive cable 10B, in which partial superconductive wires of the superconductive layer are arranged, as first superconductive wires, in a state where the superconductive layer is being positioned on the inner side of the substrate along the diametric direction of the cable core, and the other superconductive cable 10A, in which partial superconductive wires of the superconductive layer are arranged, as second superconductive wires, in a state where the superconductive layer is being positioned on the outer side of the substrate along the diametric direction of the cable core, are mutually connected in a state where the respective superconductive layers thereof oppose via the first superconductive wires and second superconductive wires.
