PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow for efficient air cooling of the interior of a casing, without giving any disturbance to oscillation of the casing, even in a dynamo-electric machine where the casing is supported pivotally.;SOLUTION: Even in a dynamo-electric machine 1 where an annular gap 10 is provided between the inner peripheral surface of the trunk 2b of a casing 2 and the outer peripheral surface of a stator 3, a cooling air supply port 6 is provided in the axial center of the trunk 2b of a casing 2 so as to open to the gap 10, thus supporting the casing 2 pivotally, interior of the casing 2 can be air cooled efficiently by preventing the wind pressure of cooling air from disturbing oscillation of the casing 2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
