PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow superior observation without erroneous detection in intra-droplet flow observation in which phase information is utilized to specify the position of a tracer particle entrained in a droplet.;SOLUTION: A droplet S having a tracer particle Sp entrained therein is irradiated with coherent light from a light source 1 by an irradiation optical system 3, and transmitted light from the droplet S impinges on an imaging device 2 as object light, and interference fringes between the object light and reference light from an optical system 4 for reference light are imaged by the imaging device 2 and are stored in a storage unit 62 of a computer 6 as hologram data. The computer 6 performs Fourier transform of reconstructed image data based on phase information and removes images having spatial frequencies lower than a critical frequency fc to remove images of a surface of the droplet S and then specifies a three-dimensional position of the tracer particle Sp by phase reconstructed image data.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
