COOLING FACILITY FOR SINTERED STEEL AND COOLING METHOD FOR SINTERED STEEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling facility for sintered steel and a cooling method for the sintered steel with flexibility that can appropriately respond to change of production volume and a manufacturing condition, etc. when the sintered steel is manufactured.;SOLUTION: To cool high-temperature sintered steel manufactured by a sintering machine 1, a cooling facility 10 includes: a cooler device (main cooling device) 3 for cooling the high-temperature sintered steel manufactured by the sintering machine 1; and a small cooler device (auxiliary cooling device) 11 for further cooling the sintered steel cooled by the cooler device 3. The cooling facility further includes: a first route (route A) for carrying out the sintered steel cooled by the cooler device 3 to a subsequent process without cooling the sintered steel by using the small cooler device 11; and a second route (route B) for further cooling the sintered steel cooled by cooler device 3 by using the small cooler device 11 and then carrying out the sintered steel to the subsequent process.
