PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moisture resistance evaluation method and an evaluation device, capable of quickly evaluating superiority of moisture resistance of an electrode.;SOLUTION: A substrate 4 provided with two or more electrodes 2a, 2b is immersed in test water 14, and a period until electric resistance between the electrodes 2a, 2b starts to increase is measured. Also, by cross-sectional observation of the electrodes 2a, 2b after immersion, the length of a crack generated in the substrate 4 and the inside of the electrodes 2a, 2b or on the interface between the electrodes 2a, 2b and the substrate 4 is measured. Or, by a surface/interface cutting device, the peel strength of the electrode is measured.
