PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easily-post-installed range display base ring for a pointer rotating type instrument, a range display tool and a pressure gauge.;SOLUTION: A range display base ring 30 according to the invention is an exterior portion of a transparent plate 17 covering front surfaces of a pointer 16 and a pointer scale 18 of a pointer rotating type instrument, and is attached to a toric end edge of a case eave part 12H extending at an end on a front surface of the pointer rotating type instrument. The range display base ring 30 includes a display surface of a front surface, a set-range display part 30G, an unused-range display part 30R and a fitting body part 30D. The set-range display part 30G displays a use range by, for example, painting a display surface in green. The unused-range display part 30R displays an unused range by, for example, painting a display surface in red.
