PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring method of the montmorillonite percentage content in bentonite that can be easily executed, and can sufficiently accurately measure the montmorillonite percentage content in bentonite while suppressing the error and variation compared with the conventional method.;SOLUTION: The measuring method of montmorillonite includes: a step (a) of measuring the natural water content (Wn) of individual bentonite as a measuring object; and a step (b) of calculating the montmorillonite percentage content (α) of the individual bentonite as the measuring object, on the basis of the general correlation (R) between the montmorillonite percentage content (α) in the bentonite and the natural water content (Wn) of the bentonite under the condition of a predetermined temperature and humidity.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
