PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vector control device for a permanent magnet type synchronous motor which is adaptable even under various operational conditions of the motor and capable of estimating a magnet magnetic flux with high accuracy.;SOLUTION: A vector control device for a permanent magnet synchronous motor is configured to perform vector control on an output voltage of an inverter 14 that drives a permanent magnet synchronous motor 16, in accordance with a torque command Tr. The vector control device includes: ineffective power calculation means 50 for calculating ineffective power Q of the motor 16 on the basis of d-axis and q-axis voltage command values Vd* and Vq* and d-axis and q-axis currents Id and Iq corresponding to detection values of currents Iu, Iv ad Iw supplied from the inverter to the motor 16; and magnet magnetic flux estimation means 51 for estimating a magnet magnetic flux φm on the basis of the d-axis current Id, the ineffective power Q and an angular velocity ω of the motor 16 in the state where the q-axis current Iq is zero and the motor 16 is driven.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
