PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control-point sensing panel and design method of the control-point sensing panel that quest for high performance without causing increase in costs.SOLUTION: An electrode layout structure in a substrate of a control-point sensing panel includes: M*N first sensing electrodes; and M*N second sensing electrodes; a first signal input/output terminal including M signal input/output terminals each electrically connected to N of the first sensing electrodes in parallel; and a second signal input/output terminal including N signal input/output terminals each electrically connected to M of the second sensing electrodes in series. The first and second sensing electrodes are formed on the same plane, and M*N electrode juxtaposition zones are formed in M*N sensing cells, respectively.
