摘要
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthquake-resistant structure for a frozen soil wall that prevents inflow of groundwater into a nuclear power station even when a crack develops in the frozen soil wall.;SOLUTION: An earthquake-resistant structure for a frozen soil wall 1 comprises heat insulation layers 2 and 2' that consist of several heat insulation blocks wrapped in a water-resistant film and formed on both sides of the frozen soil wall 1, a holding layer 3 of a flexible structure and formed by a jelly-like substance inside the heat insulation layer 2 on the side that faces a building, and a water-resistant layer 4 on the ground surface around the building. Furthermore, it is desirable to reinforce the holding layer 3 by adding 10 to 15% of nonstandard carbon fiber, glass fiber or aramid fiber in order to prepare for an unexpected situation.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
