PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of stably extracting an extract containing a functional component estrogen like active substance extracted from Pueraria lobata vine, and a composition of lifestyle disease improving agent and a food composition containing the extract.;SOLUTION: Pueraria lobata vine is efficiently processed and extracted, and the extract contains a large amount of functional component having female hormone (estrogen) like action and furthermore antioxidant capacity, and there is provided a composition of lifestyle disease improving agent or a food composition using the extract. The extract contains isoflavonoid like puerarin, daidzein, and genistein or its glycoside, and malonylisoflavone glycoside, such as malonyldaidzin.
