PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a straight movement distance when a magnet is freely moved in a three-dimensional space.;SOLUTION: With a column-shaped magnetic body 5 and four hall effect elements 1-4, on the basis of signals output from each hall effect element, a magnetic field component vector in each axis of three axes is calculated, and simultaneously, on the basis of initial information including a magnetic field intensity and distance information to a magnet, a coordinate component of each axis is calculated from the magnetic field component of each axis, and thereby a position coordinate of the magnet at any position in a three-dimensional space is acquired.
