PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device etc. capable of setting execution timing of restoration monitoring processing for an authentication server when the server fails, according to the situation.SOLUTION: An image processing device 1 comprises setting means 101 which sets whether restoration monitoring processing for checking if an authentication server 2 is restored or not is executed at prescribed timing or at timing of a log-in operation when it is detected that the authentication server is down, and transmits response confirmation data to the authentication server 2 at the set timing and executes the restoration monitoring processing for checking if the authentication server is restored or not on the basis of presence/absence of a response to the response confirmation data from the authentication server.
