PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow accurate synchronization connection of network elements such as end-node and core network equipment, and ensure a strict resource reservation.SOLUTION: A method for scheduling reservations of resources in a packet-switched communication network comprising end-nodes H1, H2, H3 and core network switches S1, S2 comprises the steps of: including time information to each request, issued by the end-node H1 and forwarded by at least one of the core network switches S1; requesting a resource required for receiving a stream defined by specifications at time represented by the time information; and storing the time information, which is included in each request from the end-nodes in accordance with associated stream specifications, in at least one related database managed by a core network switch S1 involved in the request forwarding.
