PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a characteristic inspection method of a permanent magnet capable of easily inspecting magnetic characteristics of a permanent magnet, and a characteristic inspection device of the same.;SOLUTION: A characteristic inspection device of a permanent magnet includes: a preliminary magnetization electromagnet 2 that externally applies a magnetic field to a magnet 1 for forming a permanent magnet 100 and magnetizes part of a magnetic member in an imperfect magnetization fashion to form a preliminary magnetization region; a final magnetization electromagnet 4 that externally applies a magnetic field in parallel with the easy magnetization direction of the magnet 1 in which the preliminary magnetization region is formed and perfectly magnetize the magnet 1 up to maximum magnetization to form the permanent magnet 100; and detection means that simultaneously measures an external magnetic field that is externally applied to the magnet 1 and the magnetization of the preliminary magnetization region of the magnet 1 during magnetization of the final magnetization electromagnet 4 to detect the coercive force of the permanent magnet 100 and a squareness ratio of the permanent magnet 100 from the measured values.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
