PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core box of a building in which a vertical surface of a whole outer circumferential part is flattened to the extent that application of a unit formwork is facilitated.;SOLUTION: A core box C is erected prior to a periphery of a building. All or a portion of the core box are consecutively formed by using a formwork M every two or more sections in the vertical direction so that a core pillar part C_1A, a core beam part C_2A and a core wall part C_3A included in the formwork are joined mutually. In the connection portion between the core pillar part and the core beam part, an outer surface of the core pillar part C_1A is provided so as to be on the same vertical plane with an outer surface of the core beam part C_2A.
