PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To find an agent normalizing interdigestive motility of gastrointestinal tracts.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to use of a compound having acid pump antagonistic activity, a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, or a pharmaceutical composition comprising the same, for manufacturing a medicine for prevention or therapy of a disease involving abnormal gastrointestinal motility. In addition, the present invention relates to a preventive or therapeutic method of the disease, comprising administration of the compound or a pharmaceutical composition comprising the same to a human or animal. The compound, a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, or a pharmaceutical composition comprising the same may be used in combination with one or more second active agents. Further, the present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition comprising a compound having acid pump antagonistic activity or a pharmaceutically acceptable acid thereof and a kit which are used in prevention or therapy of the disease.
