PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vital information system and a display method therefor enabling medical personnel to easily grasp and share vital of a plurality of inpatients.SOLUTION: A vital information system 1 comprises: terminal devices 61 and 71 into which inpatient's vital information is input; a server 2 which is communicably connected to the terminal devices 61 and 71 via a network 3, and in which the vital information is stored; and display means 51 which is communicably connected to the server 2 via the network 3. The server 2 comprises: risk determination means for automatically determining a risk level and a risk degree of an inpatient from the stored vital information; risk person list display means for listing in time series at least a name, the risk level and the risk degree of the inpatient; and coloring display means for coloring a background color or a letter color for the inpatient according to the determined risk level and risk degree.
