PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a video transmitter equipped with neither a display section nor an operation section to be connected to a video reception display device in compliance with video wireless transmission standards.SOLUTION: A video display system transfers video and performs display of the video from a video transmitter to a video reception display device in compliance with video wireless transmission standards for transferring the video by one-to-one and direct wireless communication. In the video display system, the video reception display device transmits connection identification information indicating that the video reception display device is a connection object complying with the video wireless transmission standards to the video transmitter when peer-to-peer second connection between the video reception display device and the video transmitter executed for first connection between the video reception display device and the video transmitter in compliance with the video wireless transmission standards is established. The video transmitter executes processing of the first connection between the video transmitter and the video reception display device in compliance with the video wireless transmission standards in the case where the connection identification information is matched with connection identification information stored in the video transmitter.
