PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a force sensor system capable of always performing accurate force measurement in spite of a remarkable temperature change, and to provide a method for performing accurate force measurement.;SOLUTION: The force sensor system measures force transmitted from a thin film strip or a metal thin plate strip to a measurement roll in a rolling period on a roll stand. The force sensor system can be inserted into a cylindrical hole of the measurement roll under preloading. The force sensor system includes a first force sensor and a preloading device for generating preloading on the first force sensor so that force by which the first force sensor actuates the measurement roll in a radial direction can be determined. The force sensor system also includes a second force sensor capable of determining a position under the preloading by the preloading device. The first force sensor has high sensitivity corresponding to measurement sensitivity necessary for measurement of contact force of the thin film strip or the metal thin plate strip, and the second force sensor is a force sensor for static measurement.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
