Some embodiments relate to systems and methods for adjusting MAC protocol data unit (A-MPDU) frame boundaries within video frame / slice boundaries for 802.11 MAC implementations. These embodiments facilitate higher throughput and MAC efficiency by utilizing MAC aggregation without generating excessive latency penalties. Some embodiments ensure that the Block-ACK window is aligned to video frame boundaries so as not to span consecutive video frames.
