PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly accurate navigation function in PND (Portable Navigation Device) and various portable information terminals.;SOLUTION: A cellular phone terminal 1 executes a route guide by performing matching processing of a current location from a GPS part 142 and map data in a map DB 131. In this case, an image analysis part 151 analyzes an image photographed via a camera part 127 and acquires information relating to a place where the cellular phone terminal is present.
