PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spin torque oscillator corresponding to a high-speed data transfer rate and enabling assisted magnetic recording with sufficient size.;SOLUTION: A spin torque oscillator includes a lamination spin injection layer and a high-frequency field generating layer. The lamination spin injection layer has a laminated structure including a first magnetic layer, a combining layer, and a second magnetic layer laminated in sequence from the side far from the high-frequency field generating layer. Magnetization of the first magnetic layer and the second magnetic layer are coupled in anti-parallel.
