PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a statistical model-based F0 pattern synthesizing device so as to make clear the correspondence between linguistic information and an F0 pattern while keeping accuracy.SOLUTION: An HMM learning apparatus includes: a parameter estimation unit that represents an F0 pattern 133 fit to a continuous F0 pattern 132 as a sum of a phrase component 136 and an accent component 134, and that estimates their target points; and HMM learning means that learns an HMM 139 with the fit F0 pattern used as learning data. The HMM learning means may learn HMMs of individual HMMs 140, 142, and 144 upon separating the continuous F0 pattern to the accent component 134, the phrase component 136, and a micro prosody component 138. Using a result of text analysis, the accent component 134, the phrase component 136, and the micro prosody component 138 are synthesized individually from the HMMs 140, 142, and 144, thereby obtaining an F0 pattern.
