PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method that present a retrieval word in a semantic depth structure base.SOLUTION: In a retrieval word presentation system presenting a plurality of retrieval words related to the retrieval word input from a client and receiving an input of the retrieval word via a network from a client 20, the retrieval word presentation system includes: a retrieval interface unit 120 that presents a plurality of recommendation retrieval words; a retrieval DB 140 that stores a plurality of retrieval results and candidate retrieval words consisting of the retrieval interface; a semantic depth DB 150 that has a semantic depth structure indicative of a semantic distance between the retrieval words stored; and a semantic depth engine 130 that forms a recommendation retrieval word group by the semantic depth from the retrieval DB on the basis of the retrieval word input from the client, and gradually presents a semantic depth gradual recommendation retrieval word list in accordance with a selection of a user.
