PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for generating a simulation model suited for a surgical condition from a medical image and also to provide a surgical simulation method and a surgical simulator.SOLUTION: A surgical simulation model generating method includes: a first process in which a volume data construction unit acquires geometrical information from medical image original data of a surgery subject stored in a medical image data storage unit, two-dimensionally extracts a needed organ included in the medical image original data, arranges the organ according to the predetermined connection relations of organs, and stacks sliced images to construct three-dimensional volume data of the needed organ; a second process in which the volume data construction unit meshes the generated three-dimensional volume data of the organ; and a third process in which the volume data construction unit forms and arranges the nodal points to be connected by meshing of the meshed organ, by virtual springs for which spring constants are nonlinearly set and which generates force according to simulated surgical instruments.
