PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of non-destructively determining concentration of microalgae or metabolite contained in culture solution.;SOLUTION: A concentration determination method of microalgae or metabolite according to the present invention has: an irradiation step of irradiating solution of microalgae with light from a measurement light source; an extraction step of extracting light in a wavelength band showing characteristics of the microalgae or metabolite from scattered light of the solution of the microalgae; a measurement step of measuring light intensity of light extracted in the extraction step; and a determination step of determining concentration of the microalgae on the basis of the light intensity of light measured in the measurement step.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
